This system has been developed and tested around the following systems, and all of them function properly:

Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008
Oracle 9i, 10g ("Theta" type join support was discontinued in Crash Magic v2)
DB2 v9
MS Access - generally just used for testing and desktop installations (not recommended for multi-user environment)
Other SQL servers that support Ansi99 but are not officially supported at this time.  Contact us if you'd like a specific SQL server certified to work with Crash Magic.

Crash Magic requires two database connections per installation.

One connection will be used for Crash Magic system tables. These tables will store configuration and user information for the program.
Crash Magic also requires at least one connection for crash data. Crash Magic will use this connection to query client data collision records.
Clients that take advantage of the data entry module will require a third connection.

While Crash Magic's requirements for the thew database connections above, there is actually no limit to the number of databases it may connect to and draw data from.
