Data Entry Definition (dataentrydefinition)
|Top Previous Next|
The Data Entry Definition is used by the Data Entry desktop application to define the fields and controls used. Currently, the Data Entry Definition must be edited using XML.
There are two main sections that define a Data Entry Definition: Update Locs, and Entry Fields.
Update Locs are used to uniquely identify a record (often including the CaseID). They are also used to join other tables into the record.
Entry fields consist of all remaining fields that will be entered on the primary data entry screen. These fields are all attached to an UpdateLoc using the "UpdateLocName" property.
